第二次世界大戦とホロコーストの時代、パレスチナでは何が起きていたのでしょうか。
ハアヴァラ協定、1939年白書下の移民制限とストルマ号、パレスチナ在住のユダヤ人・アラブ人の英軍への参加、アミーン・アル＝フサイニー、ビルトモア・プログラム、そして戦後のユダヤ人難民問題までをたどります。
エンディングでは、ベートーヴェン晩年の弦楽四重奏第16番から、時代を越えて音楽に出会う「音楽の旅」についてお話しします。
このシリーズでは、ひとつの考え方や見方を押しつけるためではなく、まず「知る」ことから始めたいという気持ちで、わたし自身も学びながらお送りしています。
無理のない範囲で、ご自身のペースで聴いていただけたらと思います。
